  • Behaviour: Flinders Business Students’ Association (FBSA) and Ayres House reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from the event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by FBSA Executive and Event personnel, Ayres House, and/or its agents and others working under its authority.

  • Canvassing by delegates is strictly prohibited at FBSA events and forums. Promotional materials may not be distributed at the event/forum except by event sponsors. Delegates violating this policy will be asked to leave the event and FBSA members may have their membership revoked.

  • Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be received in writing before the registration closing date.  Refunds are at the discretion of the Treasurer and can be requested by emailing

  • Image release: In registering for FBSA events and conferences, delegates grant permission to Flinders Business Students’ Association, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news, on-line/multimedia, research and/or educational purposes by and for Flinders Business Students’ Association. Delegates agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from FBSA in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Delegates release, discharge, and hold harmless, FBSA and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video. Should a delegate not agree to the above image release, they must advise FBSA by contacting

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT): If paying via EFT, a completed registration form along with payment is needed in order for the registration to be processed by Flinders Business Students’ Association. Payment by EFT will not be accepted after the registration closing date. Your registration will be cancelled if payment is not received with 7 days of registration and is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email from Flinders Business Students’ Association. You must include the first and last name of all tickets being paid for in the transfer description.

  • Payment: To avoid disappointment, ensure you pay for your booking(s) before the registration closing date. Anyone that has not received a confirmation email will not be on the event attendance list and therefore will not be admitted to the event.

  • Privacy notice: FBSA is concerned with the protection of your privacy. We support the privacy principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as amended. FBSA collects and stores your personal information for the purposes of providing membership services, education and training programs. Here is how your data may be used: Communication from Flinders Business Students’ Association: FBSA may use your details to promote products and services in the form of email communications and/or other types of communication. if you would prefer not to receive communications from Flinders Business Students’ Association. For the purposes of the event: Your details will be provided to parties directly related to the event including the event registration manager, venues and accommodation providers for the purpose of room bookings, catering needs and other conference options. Communication from 3rd parties: Event sponsors and exhibitors may be provided with delegate details following the event.   • Program: FBSA reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard.

  • FBSA will not be liable for any non-performance of the event in the case such non-performance is caused or contributed by riot, fire, war, terrorist acts, acts of God, labour disputes, government regulations, flood, non-performance by suppliers, and other force majeure events.

  • Registration Notice: FBSA member registration rates are not transferable to non- FBSA members. By selecting a member registration rate, it is agreed that the registrant is a current financial member of FBSA and that the registration is made in the FBSA member's name only. A breach of this may result in a cancellation of an event registration and/or FBSA membership

  • Tickets can be transferred to another student with the same membership status by contacting  This communication must originate from the existing ticketholder and include the name, mobile number, email address, and dietary requirements of the new ticketholder. Entry will be refused to any persons whose name is not listed as registered, so the new ticketholder will be refused entry, unless the transfer has been registered.

  • Registration and Payment: Payment in full is required by the event date in order to attend.  Payment can be made on completion of the registration form by card (processing fee applies), or with 7 days via direct debit to:

  • In consideration for receiving permission to attend the event FBSA Business Ball, I hereby FOREVER RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Flinders Business Students’ Association, and its directors, officers, agents, contractors, insurers, equipment suppliers, volunteers and/or the registered proprietor of the land and any of its affiliates upon which the event is held including the Ayers House and event venue (hereinafter referred to as RELEASEES) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in such activity, while in, on or upon the premises/land where the activities are being conducted, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH LOSS IS CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, or otherwise and regardless of whether such liability arises in tort, contract, strict liability, or otherwise, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
